Eye Allergy – Our Expert Advice And Exam Can Help

When Can Anti-Allergy Eye Drops Help and When It Can Be More Serious!

There are many eye drops available, many widely obtainable without even a recommendation from an Eye Care/Heath Care Professional. Some have clinical trial evidence behind them and are authorised by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), others use some of ‘natures’ ingredients and while they may help they not have been subject to the standards of proof medicines have. Most eye allergy is relatively benign but unpleasant, however some forms do have the potential to be sight-threatning! The only sure way of knowing is to be examined by an Eye Care Professional.

Dry or Watery Eyes – In-Practice/Clinic Professional Treatments

I am evaluating a number of in-practice/clinic professional treatments that may improve or replace, at least in part, home treatments, in much the same way as the treatments from your dental hygienist improve dental hygiene:

A treatment that has been available for some time now is the Lipiflow system. Please contact Andrew D Price by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. Dry or Watery Eyes – help is at hand!

If you are affected by dry or watery eyes and can travel to North Wales or Stoke-on-Trent I, or my colleague in the East-Midlands, can offer a dedicated specialist evaluation of your dry/watery eyes in a dedicated clinic. Effective treatment plans now offer help to the vast majority of dry/watery eye patients. We like to think we are always looking for steps forward in our examinations and care for our patients, so not every test, exam, treatment, therapy or product is delivered in the same way by every practitioner at the same time, as we evaluate and constantly look to improve our already excellent results.

Dry Eye Drops – The What and the How!

Article borrowed from sister website!

In March 2015 a website named Eye Drops Database was launched as a rescource for Eye Care and Health Care Professionals, it was envisaged to be centred around Dry Eye drops, however it has grown to be much more than that. Not withstanding its expansion, it seemed appropriate for me to write a specific article on Dry Eye drops. It was my personal consideration of Dry Eye drops and so was not necessarily the same as other Eye Care/Health Care Professionals (ECPs/HCPs), I thought it useful to re-publish it here!
