Temperatures outside these can change the product, often permanently; its pH, formulation, deactivating its active components, degrade it making any medication less effective or completely inactive or increase the risk of contamination. Storage instructions can be found in the Patient Information Leaflet/Information for User, on the bottle and/or carton. Failing this, consult your Eye Care Professional where you obtained the product from, or your pharmacist. Alcon evaluated a consumer complaint of foreign material observed inside a sealed single use vial and determined the material to be fungal in nature".
