TRAVEL TIPS

- take your ortho-k or soft lenses in your carry on bag.
- take an extra plunger.
- Hydrogen Peroxide can NOT be taken in your carry on- MUST be in your checked luggage.
- use a flat case instead of the peroxide case to carry your ortho-k filled with a Multi-purpose solution.
- take a spare set of contacts, ortho-k, glasses!
- International travel: when you arrive at your destination: take a “nap” with your ortho-k in your eyes for 1 hour or so- it will renew your vision long enough to get you to the evening. even if you do not sleep, keep eyes closed and listen to music, book, meditation, a podcast, etc.
- Do not try to insert your orthok- on the plane.
- Take and wear good quality sunglasses!
